Recreating the fleeting feelings of childhood

Sitting on a warm heater on a cold morning was one of my favorite things to do as a kid. When a friend of mine resonated similarly, I knew I wanted to create Senior Capstone Animation that could exemplify that feeling. I focused on making a furry character that was drying off and needed just a bit of help.

Taking inspiration from the animation style of Studio Ghibli, I aimed to illustrate moments in time that capture fleeting feelings. I've been thankful to learn from great Disney and 3D animators at DePaul University like Brian Ferguson (left) and Josh Jones (right) who have pushed me to become a better artist.
